Heero is launching a dedicated Overwatch App for players, content creators and fans of the game
The new Overwatch App uses the core Heero platform with a few new changes and tweaks to help content creators. If you create great video content on YouTube and want to increase the number of views your videos get then the Overwatch App will be the perfect support tool. Simply submit the URLs of your YouTube videos with an appropriate title and tags (e.g. Tracer or Genji) and then wait for your views to increase as users of the Overwatch App watch your videos and “Star” them.
What do you mean by “Star” a video?
Much like upvoting on a website like reddit Users of the App will be able to give a “Star” to a video they like – the more Stars a video has the more people like it. This is a great way to gain more views for your videos as the the more Stars a video gains the more likely it is to be watched.
I’m a player, how does the App help me?
We’ll also be creating our own videos which means tutorial videos and gameplay highlights from top Overwatch tournaments. The App will also include news updates, the ability to make match predictions on fixtures in Overwatch leagues or tournaments, chat with other App Users and you’ll also be able to show-off your battle.net record.
When can I start using the App?
The App is being built at the moment but we’d love you to join the beta list and provide your feedback before it goes live. Just fill in the form below and we’ll let you know when testing begins and what you need to do. You can also follow us on social media (Facebook and Twitter) for the latest updates about development of the App.
